The Great Rebellion: Edition 2084 developer Kvltgames and founder Roland Moritz revealed that Nintendo pulled the game from its Nintendo Store just a day before it was set to go on sale.
Because Nintendo of America is still located in Washington State, Washington State most likely supports tyranny. And a couple of people who send those complaints, is also tyrants.
John - Apologies for not being more informed but can you provide more on what this is about? Has this studio done/said something that has triggered the Woke/Degenerate left and so they've got Nintendo banning this game or what? This kind of ban doesn't happen for no reason. It may be a bad/dumb reason but it doesn't happen for no reason and I can't tell for this piece what that may even be,
"In this Cyperpunk-inspired run'n'gun-roguelite the world is controlled by technocratic elites who seek digital immortality and transcend their human bodies and they will stop at nothing to achieve their goal."
Can you elaborate on that b/c I'm still not clear on what's going on with this. Is this like with Palworld where the devs made a game that Nintendo believes only they are allowed to make?
No, this is different. The Great Rebellion is considered dangerous by the left as a right leaning game, the thing is, it’s actually really tame and safe. But the left think it’s something it’s not. The game satirises modern liberalism by taking it to its extreme by the year 2085, its mocks the political end-point. Mainly it’s against trans humanism and pride (the sin). The German government banned the game, but no other government followed them. Nintendo banned it yet steam and GoG have allowed it.
Thank you. I now understand. I'm going to have to look into this game more closely now. I am surprised though at Why a Japanese based entity would care enough about Western politics to do something like this.

The game is very much against the powers that be. That's why.

Sounds about right—like, right now! LOL!
Guess it hit a little too on the mark. As the say, when the flak is thickest you're right over the target
The devs had their fingers too close to the pulse.

It's still available on the Japanese store. Nintendo USA has its own execs and policies that appear to have some autonomy
“Kvlt do what Nintendon’t” was the clear headline! Haha
