2028? The first quality AI shows/movies will probably be out by then!
I wish they were a little more forthcoming about what they want to do in the show. I have a hard time getting interested in what currently feels like vaporware.
Looking forward to this. As for season length, they don't have to stick with the current trend of 6-10 espies per season. Before the small screen rebooted set the standard of 6-19 episodes, cable shows were shooting for the 15 episodes mark like BURN NOTICE. I get why 220+ is too much to hope for considering turn around times and renewal process but I believe something along the lines of 12-15 is doable. What they MUST work hard towards is avoiding the current trap of 18-24 months between seasons. That is just tooo long. If that means doing only 10 episodes then better that then waiting 2 years for 15 episode long seasons.
What I don't get is why it takes so long for streaming shows to get renewed. Its not as if these streaming services don't have far more details about audience participation than the networks had back when 22-24 episodes a season was the norm so why do these guys take soo long to renew another season? If anything it should be easier/faster for them to determine the success of a series by the time the last episode drops
At least it's Gero running it, a guy with a positive record working on the previous series.
Cautiously optimistic. We'll see what happens.
So we get YET another ten episode season, followed by another “season” two years later.
Not feeling terribly optimistic rn.

Everyone: keep in mind that Woke may dictate the plot in this production.
There's every reason to expect more subversion & appropriation and very little to the contrary.
- I'm sorry to bring the bad news. I prefer you well informed, rather than ignorantly hopeful. -
If it's Woke, I'll drop it like a radioactive potato. We'll see what happens.
Just hoping it won't be limited to just streaming (but it probably will).
