The NaNoWriMo website shut down completely, being taken offline as writers on Reddit voicet their anger that their data disappeared without warning.
My thoughts?
Any org founded on a generic premise & without strong defenses against moral corruption will not long serve its purpose.
So, same stuff, different day.
They ruin everything. That's the objective.
Typical for lefties. If they can't have their perverted activities, they take all the toys home and burn the house down behind them.
All they had to do was give people a word counter, a forum to post updates on, and decent moderation that followed the law.
Because they didn't want to do that and wanted to exclude people, the NANOWRMO deserves what happens.
I hope Fandom Pulse learns from this mess and tries to do less. Write articles. Don't grow faster the organic growth allows. Don't try to be a community for all of us. Some of you are going to be left on the side of the road.
