Exactly. I didn't have much interest in it until it was banned.

A guy named Hammer traveling through Europe killing Muslims? Are we sure history doesn't repeat.

Wow. I have to take issue with this review. First, where was it established that the woman stabbed in the beginning was Sanders' wife? I don't think she was. Granted, the movie could have used a better script, better editing and a bigger budget—no question. But to give it 4 out of 10... Boll's films usually average about a 5 on IMDB, and I'd give this film an extra point or two for sheer courage.

But the main problem with this review is that you are assuming that Sanders is meant to be a hero, like Paul Kersey in Death Wish or Dirty Harry. That's not the case. His strange visit to the brothel, his boardroom antics, and his causing an innocent motorist to crash just to prove a rhetorical point strongly suggest he is not, in fact, a hero. He's an anti-hero, a borderline sociopath. He's a bit like Rorschach in Watchmen, only more extreme.

Ultimately, this film is a warning, a cautionary tale. I think it's telling Europe that if they don't choose the soft option for dealing with the migration crisis, and soon, then they'll have no choice but to accept the hard option. And they will not like the hard option.

I've wondered for a long time why a revenge movie like this does not exist for the U.K. rape gangs. That's why I ended up writing my novel The Mayor of Christ Mountain. It's not exactly the same topic, but in the same ballpark. You can read it free online at zaklog.wordpress.com or buy it on Amazon a.co/d/02CvP0Cr

As a cultural artifact, it's a must watch. As a film, it could have been so much better. I am impressed the director was brave enough to film it. The music and some editing got outsourced to China based on the names. I did not pick up on the symbolic part of the mold, or even that the lady at the start was his wife. And what of the son? The car crash scene was not needed, but more over the top messaging. The opsec (operational security, awareness of possible surveillance by the police) of the main character was a joke in our environment where cameras are everywhere, and I wonder if deliberate by the director. I would give it a 6 out of 10, but the difference between a rating of 4 and 6 is minor quibbling. May be my higher rating was because the mold and eviction scenes resonated with me due to my experience in the property management space.

I watched 15 minutes of the movie, which was almost more than I could bear. I am reminded of film graduates, unable to find jobs in the industry, picking their parents pockets to make a movie nobody will like.

It is a Uwe Boll movie. They are usually bad. That's his signature.

I find it difficult to conceive of an experienced filmmaker who cannot tell the difference between storytelling and self-indulgence.

Rumor has it Boll started making movies because Germany subsidizes films under certain circumstances, regardless of quality of the product. He would barely take the payout, barely meet requirements, and pocket the rest. I haven't seen this newest one, but I'll guarantee it's a masterpiece compared to his earlier films.

Yeah, he's been doing this since forever. He could be doing it on purpose as that's his style. Like Florence Foster Jenkins in opera.

It's okay to be gay, John. We don't judge.

The Church is weak. We are cowards for Christ. So pagans solution is violence and revenge. Ours, if the Church were present would be the rebuking of the evil pagans, of Islam, and of the terror and tyranny they want uber alles.

This is the first review I've seen that hasn't mentioned how objectively racist the film's premise is, or how as an attempt at whitewashing the star's tarnished image they went really heavy on the white but not so much on the wash.
