Milly Alcock sat down with Variety this week for a cover story ahead of Supergirl‘s June 26 release, and in the middle of a lengthy profile about her working-class roots and punk rock screen presence, she said the quiet part loud.

Not going to pay to see this movie. I wouldn't watch it for free. Alcock doesn't care. She got her paycheck. If it fails, which it will, she can blame it on "haters."

This is the arrogance and stupidity of the younger generation. It is NEVER OK to piss off any possible market for your product! With the price tag for these films, every single actor should be told to STFU if they can't say something nice with regards to the audience. Clearly we need a few more high[er] profile examples of actors getting fired for running off at the mouth like the fool from STAR TREK ACADEMY. I'm surprised these contracts don't include some kid of penalty clause for badmouthing the public of which every possible customer comes from.
Maybe Skydance has the backbone to finally do what should have already been done, to publicly fire an actor for this kind of behavior , black list them from any future work for the studio, and be very public about it so as to send a very clear msg to the rest of the actors that the days of you're being able to mouth of at those who's money we need are DONE! If Skydance does something like this al of the industry rags are going to gang up on SKydance but so what? The paying public is ready to see this happen and I bet many would be wiling to make an extra effort to support whatever studio is bold enough to stand up to te new generation of bullies, Hollywood actors.
