The guy has the audacity to claim authorship over something he and his brother half-plagiarised from MUCH more substantial work of actual cyberpunk authors before them? The only original contribution of these two were the action sequences and polished presentation - the ideas and themes themselves were lifted wholesale from so many books and authors, it's almost hard to believe.
Needless to say, when the sequels were ordered by the studios, these two very quickly and very unsurprisingly found themselves out of their depth.
Oh, and the drivel about Right "appropriating" speaking points from the Left? God Almighty, this dude is going senile well before his time. "Comrades, let's ignore the fact that it is actually the Left that has always been attempting to subvert and corrupt pretty much every aspect of the natural order, and let's blame others for something we ourselves do, shall we, like our beloved Uncle Stalin taught us."
This man truly is a clown and he probably doesn't even realise it.
He just admitted that he sees The Matrix differently, now that he’s in a different place (ie “trans”). So in other words, he’s the one trying to co-op it to mean what he wants it to mean NOW. The Right interprets it the way it was always meant to be when it was created. These people always tell on themselves if you let them talk long enough.
Eh, while 1 of 4 Matrix movies was actually good, it probably would have been better for movies if had never been made.
The hyper stylization worked well for the film due to its premise, but the mouth-breathing, crayon-eating, creative invalids of Hollywood were left so slack-jawed by the spectacle of it that they spent almost 2 decades aping it, whether the ridiculous action stylization was a fit or not (it almost never was).
It was so tiring all of the action set pieces cribbed straight from the Matrix that looked so fake and goofy. Then, once they FINALLY started to weak themselves from that test, along came the woke movement to ruin movies for another decade or so
It's no wonder we miss the 80s and 90s flicks so damn badly.
Death of the artist only gets invoked when the left wants to use it, I think.
Ironically the Matrix has proven to be one of the more influential movies on the right... not just the metaphor of the red pill, but the general idea of media as an opiate keeping the masses distracted and subservient, and all of reality and in particular the institutions being a tissue of lies meant to deceive.
In 1999, that was a left-wing idea, in 2025, a right-wing one.

He thinks he's a woman.
The matrix didn’t change, its creators did. And they’re mad they cant take it back.
soooo gay

"It's about liberation..." That is, until they are in charge.
The Wachowski brothers have a room in Hell waiting for them right next to Lily Tino, Mark Ruffalo, and Pol Pot.

"Fascists appropriate and twist things," says deranged man who appropriated the female sex and twisted himself into a grotesque mockery thereof.
Why should anyone care what a trannie has to say? You can just ignore idiots.

"What are you telling me? That I can dodge accusations of racism?"
"No Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to."
