I am old enough to have seen it 3 times in the theatre when it came out. My dad could not understand why I would go see a movie more than once. I would love to see it on the big screen once again.

My mom worked at the Colorado School of Mines. She befriended a female student who had enormous tracts of land. Whenever a guy asked her for a date, she would say "let's see Star Wars".

She saw it 44 times.

I saw it 7 times during its first year

No one, even George, has ever been able to fully grasp the effect it had on us

As a kid, 14 years old, on Long Island, my friends and I would bicycle to theaters to see Star Wars on weekends. You paid to get into the theater and could stay for as many showings as you wanted to. I saw Star Wars in 1977 40 or 50 times that summer alone and since it came out on video, I've seen it even more.

Can’t get people in the seats, so they’re re-re-releasing old stuff.

It’s equal parts sad and funny.

How many times has a remastered version been released by now? Make something new ffs, though they kinda blew up the whole SW.

But will there be a home video release on Blu-Ray that includes both the original theatrical edit and the latest cut? My only copy of the original (where Han shot first) is on VHS, and I no longer have a working player.

I fully expect misandrist Kennedy to mess with it in some way in order to get back at men for liking the original Star Wars movies instead of her own disrespectful, useless slop.
