I have a hard time figuring out what her point is and the way she speaks and the words she uses makes me instantly want to skip over them. JKR is one or two orders of magnitude more clear. I may not agree with her but at least I know what she’s saying.
There is indeed a certain protection with jibber jabber. She can always claim to be misquoted or misinterpreted. And she’s not a billionaire so she probably needs to not piss off TPTB.
Rowling is a woman who has seen it all, and experienced it all, created a literary phenomenon that will last generations, and still creates worlds beyond Harry Potter. Emma Watson is a cloistered actress who never had a normal childhood where she wasn’t being spoiled and treated like an A-list actress, who will never have to worry about paying the rent, affording a home, and buying a car, and has peaked with her only noteworthy role. Her unintelligible blathering is a hallmark of the attitude, and lifestyle, she now enjoys thanks completely to Rowling.
Maybe Emma is impacted by the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Since she has her phone number she should call JK Rowling directly and talk it out between them, and then speak publicly.
