This new garbage has no relation to the original Trek. Just because they copy concepts and color schemes doesn't make it Trek.

I’ll be fair to the late Gene Roddenberry and acknowledge that some of these points were pretty good. But some of them are basically scientistic BS (like “only use generally accepted science theory”, you mean like Q?).

Buy hey, it’s his baby, his IP. To be honest, if I was in his position, helming a show based on my own creation, I’d have some rules the writers would have to follow too. And I’d be pretty strict about them also. It’s called quality control.

Don't worry. The current set of terrible series are just nightmares after Data gets a sleep chip installed. It's not Canon.

Reminds me of that awful TNG treehugger episode where warp drive was "destroying subspace". Roddenberry would've nuked that so fast. Other writers couldn't wait to ignore that one.

That is one of two TNG episodes I will never watch again. I hate that episode with the power of a thousand thousand burning suns.

Warp 5.5 saves lives!

Those are actually pretty good guidelines.

Modern day Star Dreck doesn't care about some deceased white man. He's the evil patriarchy.

Just proves that catering to that crowd gets you nowhere.

Anywhere you can find Space Fleet Academy besides Kindle Unlimited? I’m trying to buy it but it won’t let me?
