The author of DC Comics now canceled Red Hood series, a man who pretends to be a woman and uses the name Gretchen Felker-Martin, revealed a depraved ending for the series that involves Red Hood killing the President of the United States.This Substack is reader-supported.
I don't believe for one minute that this person actually said the crap he claims he said to the "suit." This, like the pretend ending to his comic, is another one of his many fantasies. When you can't take back what you said and undo the damage you've done to yourself, the only thing left to do is make a "virtue" out of it. Like "I'd do it again." No you so wouldn't. If they gave you your job back today, you'd take it and be grateful to the "suit."

Whoa. I knew the traditional publishers' products had gotten crappy years ago, but this is like next-level evil. I can't imagine the level of despair felt by people who spent their lives building up companies like Marvel and DC, only to watch them be burned to the ground. It's very sad.
Ordinarily I'd chide you for posting 'Gretchen's' picture, but I find his picture encouraging my resolve to adhere to my weight-loss program.
