Emma Mackey, who is reportedly playing Jadis, the White Witch, in Netflix and Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Narnia film, provided a little bit of a tease about what viewers can expect.
A "beloved character like the White Witch?" Holy crap. I know we all decided not to see this Now-Aslan-is-a-woman nightmare but I just decided to double not see it if anyone anywhere with any exposure whatsoever to Narnia thinks the White Witch is BELOVED. Oh my gosh. I need a fainting couch and a fan and smelling salts over here.
Think about the White Witch's role in slaying the Christ-Figure, Aslan. She most definitely IS beloved by a certain type of individual that infests Hollywood and the world in general.
Our heroes are not their heroes. Our morality is not their morality. And our stories are not their stories.
It's why they are going full-court press to destroy, demean, and deconstruct our most beloved cultural artifacts.

She's tipped her hand without realizing it.

Amen - you're so right.
Ella McGay barely made $2 million at the box office. It's another HUGE Disney flop.
