Mr Busch didn't conquer anything, it only led to his downfall.

Busche, who pretends to be a woman and calls himself Corinne,

That says it all. You didn't need to say anything else.

Mental insanity has ruined many a game.

I truly hate the narrative around this game. The trans issue (a 5-10 minute cringe section) dominated what is actuality a 70 hour blockbuster of a game. It shows how everything is polarized.

The writing was on par with every one DA game.

Remember that every game BioWare puts out is hated until about three years pass. Same thing will happen here.

Origins was received well right away from what I heard. I got Inquisition when it was pretty new and the sentiment around it was pretty good as well. The only ones that weren't that well received was DA2 and this one.

DA2 makes sense, since they were under crunch to push that one out, and didn't have the time they had with the others to make a good game. Now that one SHOULD be the worst, but this one has been even WORSE received than that one and they had MUCH more time than DA2 did.

As someone who's played them all, I don't know how anyone can honestly say the writing in this game is on par with the writing in the other games. The other games were adult fantasies with complex characters, complicated goals, desires, and motivations. This game was very straight forward. Your main character was a good hero and that is all. No complexity allowed. Most the companions, had struggles sure, but it was pretty straight forward, not too complex.

Even the main story isn't that complex. And the talk and banter between the characters and stuff is pretty juvenile most of the time. If it wasn't for the occasional hard swear and the themes and such the game could've honestly been rated T for Teen. There are many neutral takes that also explain the same thing about it not feeling like an adult or a Dragon Age game, so it's not just me who's saying this.

Lol "blockbuster?" Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm glad if someone enjoyed it... But this seems like a reach... Removing the LGBTQ(etc) part and controversy out of it, all the players of the other games or a good majority of them (myself included) will tell you the writing for the game was very juvenile and it didn't feel like Dragon Age...

Game was okay at best to me and many other neutrals... Unfortunately that's not gonna cut it for a studio that NEEDED a hit.

Go woke and Go Broke. They should come out with a DLC that cleans all this crap up and makes it an actually fun game.

At least there's no loss of talent, just a delusional halfwit, that's done its very best to set a communities world on fire. May the sun beat down on you and the wind be forever in your face.
