Star Wars even in its weakened state still has an audience and maybe the popularity difference can explain the difference in numbers. That being said Born Again definitely didn't set the internet on fire and I'm glad that that subversive garbage failed.
I feel many many people, myself included, will wait until all episodes are available to watch. There is so much choice these days there is just no need to start watching a show that is only going to slowly dribble out its episodes weekly as it would ten years ago. The sooner they and others grasp this, the better for their shows successes. I will watch Daredevil, but not until it’s ripe.
....is the show good? I remember reading the comics in the 80s that this miniseries was based on, and it was very good. Is the series worth watching, or is it woke? I'd like to know one way or the other.....
The original three seasons of Daredevil are very good. I am still waiting for the next episodes to judge this follow-up overall, but I highly recommend the original show. It grapples with interesting discussions about justice and law and also contains one of the most respectful portrayals of religion that I've seen from a wide-audience television show.
