Never been interested in an Academy film. Star Trek was never about the Academy. It's always been about going where no one has gone before. The Academy would be boring as there are only so many gripping stories of holodeck failure that you can tell, and nobody wants to know who's doing who in the locker room.
The only way this would be interesting is if they made it as two timelines, one where they are already in the climax of their careers and link it back to their time in the academy.
It would appear Borg House has a 25 point lead this year. However, due to an admirable team effort against Moriarty in the Holodeck, I am awarding 100 points to Enterprise House! Enterprise House wins!

"It's dead Jim!"

After all of the recent garbage Star Trek shows and movies I am not very optimistic about Starfleet Academy.

Nothing, not even Shatner himself, would bring me back to watch more Kurtzman filth. I won’t even dignify this garbage with a hate watch anymore.
It’ll be trash.
