We are like monks of the modern age in the sense we should our protect and preserve childhood memories and all that is good, true, and beautiful. I don't mind remasters so much as they can be helpful in taking out the grunt work to get older games running. We have so much old media that includes games to draw from until the social justice works its way like a fever out of the culture.

I am confident creatives like you will have more opportunities in the future to promote games and media you enjoy, until then it is satisfying enough to play a childhood favorite video game as clown world begins to wither and die. The compost resulting from such decay should provide fertile ground to rebuild or so I hope.

True, so caution is still needed, but it is a Japanese game from a "global" publisher...

Older Japanese companies are sadly liberal and westernized. They rely on radical Californians to tell them how to compromise their work to chase a worldwide audience. They are far too trusting of credentials, like Boomers falling for phone scams.
