Were I in DC the obvious, yet still dumb, save would be to bring back 'The Goddamn Batman vs The Batman Who Laughs' and let Frank Miller off all his meds while writing it. As soon as I even heard rumor that the new Batman wasn't even Bruce I checked out of even remembering the series was coming out.
I'm weird. I hope it fails. I'm sick of DC. I used to be a DC fan in the early 2000s, mais now I cannot help but hold the company and comics in utter contempt. Let them just fall already, so that a decent company could take their bloody place. Maybe then we'll get some decent comics, maybe some of a more 'mythic' bent and without the politics.
Give me more Conan, and less Batman.

Interestingly, I've not seen even a whisper of this from any other comics news outlet. Think I'll take this with a very large helping of salt.
