1. Both long-in-the-tooth, high-on-the-sigmoid-curve companies with stagnant stock value growth.

2. Both converged companies unwilling to listen to users or stockholders.

3. Both companies who have purged talented and innovative employees in favor of political activists.

4. Both companies now joined for "a creative endeavor" with no real internal creatives to call upon to make it happen.

There is NOT enough popcorn.

Your take on the strong reaction to the Disney-OpenAI deal really resanated. What if the next generation's childood memories are primarily AI-generated Stitch videos and we all become Disney copyright lawyers?

So AI is slop but the woke crap this jerk supports and that Hollywood has been pumping out wasn't? Typical Lunatic Liberal

Is this the origin of all those Sora Disney/Pixar parodies on YouTube like "Finding Milk" and "The Island?"

Some of them are actually rather funny and subversive, and represent what creative freedom can generate.

On one hand, I hate the lack of genuine artistry. On the other, it opens the floodgates for ideas and expressions that would never have seen the light of day. Hollywood's days are numbered when someone can use this to create better stuff in their basement. (There's some really interesting LOTR stuff out there for example made by living fans versus the horrendous impending doom from the Animal Farm ruiner Serkis.)

Anyway, I wonder what Mickey thinks about his billions being used to lampoon his toys?

User/AI created content isn't a loss of artistry but an expansion of it. There are many with creative minds who have no physical talents, unable to put into artwork that which they envision in their minds. AI not only empowers the creative to do more but it takes away the power and stranglehold that Hollywood has had over the big and the small screen for soo long.

Late night, unspecified boardroom:

- Psst, do you think it's time?

- Well, it's been a few months since then...

- Yeah... Nobody remembers Cinderella by now. Let's go then - send the press release out!
