Had to go back to 2000 to find a labor day release I'd been looking forward to: Highlander Endgame. Most years, there was nothing I'd seen. Not even 2 years later as a library rental.
If they made something I wanted to watch. But im not tbe audance they want.
Also kids might not want to watch a hour and a half movie. They do tic-toc and youtube shorts.

The 90s really were cultural ground zero.
Who wants to go spend real money to sit for an hour and have Hollywood pump sewage into your soul?
Are we so small and fragile that we must submit ourselves to indoctrination dressed up as entertainment? Must we continue to pretend?
