After our article regarding Peter Thiel and his investment group starting Ark Press and getting a new modern fantasy series from Larry Correia, Baen Books editor Jason Cordova has responded with a lengthy Facebook post clarifying what he sees going on with the situation.
Because they are, in the moment. Comes down to solipsism - what about me?! - instead of responding in a concise, professional manner to starve the drama of fuel.
That's what I gathered. It was a public post. How was it Jon was not "lobbing" anything. It makes no sense. Bringing in cancer treatments (hope it goes well for him) as if Jon has exacerbated the effects of the treatments somehow by reposting a PUBLIC post?
Seems like sympathy clicks and whining to me as well.
I do not think it was a rant. Nor do I think the original scoop on the Thiel purchase was an attack on Baen.
If both Mr. Cordova & Mr. Del Arroz both believe this to be the case, they have fences to mend. I hope both can do the Christian thing.
Also, what's this "engagement farming?" stuff? Are there social rules about @ing? Is it one of those things that gets sticky when done by pros for a business account?
Why do these people always sound like emotionally incontinent teenage girls?

Wow, that Cordova unending comment needed editing.
Facebook is a public forum, so any expectation of privacy is unreasonable. Whining about it, especially from a social media manager, is unbecoming.
The rest is just *muh feelings!* slop.

I wonder how many covid vaccines Jason received.
The air is ever clear over a storm in a teacup.

I thought the original article was a news story. I don't get why it keeps being described as an "attack?"
Wow. What a girl. I am sorry, but that doesn't sound like an adult man. That sounds like a 15 year old girl. One that gets paid by the word. :)
I don't see how any friend of Larry's can be offended by attacks on him, considering the way Larry speaks to/about everyone else.
