The Handmaid’s Tale has been one of the left’s darlings of a book in recent years as the book depicts women “stripped of rights” as an extreme feminist commentary on America. Because of its descriptions of explicit rape, it was removed from Alberta school libraries, which sent the author into an uproar about “banned books,” leading to quite the passive-aggressive rant on X.
