I don't care about who currently holds the publishing rights, the only official Bond novels were written by Ian Fleming--anything else is just garbage with Bond's name stuck in it...
Sadly, this is no surprise. It started going downhill with "Goldeneye," when Bond first received a female M who called him a "sexist, misogynist dinosaur" and a "relic of the Cold War." (How ironic is it that a woman visibly twice Bond's age should call him a "dinosaur"? I cheered when she was killed off in "Skyfall.")
Pierce Brosnan made a wonderful Bond, but his other scripts suffered, too. The villain in "Tomorrow Never Dies" was modeled on Rupert Murdoch, who was considered an "evil conservative" by so many on the left.
And then, of course, we had "No Time to Die," where Craig's Bond not only loses his "007" number, but actually does find time to die in the end. It's not even heroic. He gets poisoned by one of the lamest villains since the Rupert Murdoch clone and basically commits suicide.
My expectations are so low that if Bond 26 isn't complete trash, I'll be really surprised.
Charlie Higson is clearly a Marxist, with the way he wrote the introduction of the character of ‘Roger Burkett’, from that James Bond book from three years ago.

This is what I would write if I were doing a parody of Woke Bond, and also drunk.
What I remember about that book was that Bond was one of multiple men seeing some immigration lawyer--they're so woke they wouldn't even let Bond sleep around too.
